What is an eSIM?
An eSIM is an embedded SIM card that lives inside your device.
It's a small chip which can be programmed to work with any network that supports eSIMs, and unlike a normal SIM it can't be physically removed.
You can have plans from more than one network stored on your eSIM, but you'll only be able to enable one at a time.

There are many providers offering eSIM services now, most allow you to download an app to your device, create an account and install an eSIM profile within a few minutes.
Generally you pre-pay for your data, and have a limited time to use it in ranging from 24 hours to a month.
